As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for booking meetings and demos for the sales team, generating qualified leads, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales demos and meetings
  • Direct reach out to inbound leads via email, LinkedIn, and calls with highly relevant and personalized emails and calls
  • Source opportunities with our target accounts through cold emails and calls in collaboration with the marketing team and the ABM campaign
  • Participation in online conversations (i.e. LinkedIn) with interested people, relevant conversation topics, and target accounts
  • Conduct research on inbound and outbound target people and companies
  • Collaborate with the sales team to advance target accounts
  • Deep understanding of the product and target audiences
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads throughout the funnel

Skills

  • Experience in sales development or inside sales roles, with a consistent track record of over attainment of weekly and monthly targets
  • Highly self-motivated with an obsession on outbound prospecting and working with prospects on understanding their pain points and offering solutions to address them
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of outbound sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, and sales processes
  • Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g.,Hubspot, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Gong, Apollo, Outreach, Sales Navigator)
  • Prior experience selling commercial cloud services / products based on open source developer platform is a huge plus
  • Comfortable speaking about workflows, micro services, containers, serverless
  • Strong ability to articulate, educate and sell the business value to businesses of all sizes
