Job Title Product Management Advisor What does a successful Product Management Advisor do at Fiserv? As a successful Product Management Advisor, you will have the opportunity to define a consistent strategy and focus for creating products and solutions that benefit the Issuer Solutions business plan. You will be responsible for driving the overall success of the strategy and supporting product lines and extensions, including defining and communicating the strategic path for the solution line from beginning to end, (idea initiation, feasibility analysis, development, release, marketing, sales to support.)

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage feature set requirements for each product release.
  • Develop the strategic roadmap and business plans for portfolio of product offerings to best meet current and future market needs, identifying both new opportunities for application integration and enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and crafting offerings strategy with the result of prioritizing feature/functionality offers.
  • Drive the end-to-end product cycle from business justification through product launch including ensuring other functions are aligned to capitalize on the initiative.
  • Act as the primary advocate for financial performance management software offerings across the organization.
  • Influence Field Enablement and Market Intelligence activities for relevant offerings, for example: positioning and messaging for offerings and working with Marketing Communications to plan and execute.
  • Ensure the execution of sound product management processes on a function-specific basis, ensuring that sufficient training and auditing of this process occurs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, (Accounting, Finance or Business field preferred.)
  • Minimum 8 years of software product management experience.
  • or more recent Client Relationship and Product Owner/Delivery experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Financial Services industry experience.
  • Master’s in business administration, (MBA.)
  • Detailed knowledge and experience working with a broad range of financial risk management solutions in the banking industry.
  • Technical knowledge related to financial reporting, analysis and business intelligence.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Experience working in bank or financial institution, leading the finance or financial risk management areas including budgeting, planning, forecasting, profitability analysis and funds transfer pricing areas.
