Job Details • Position Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry (Telemetry RN, Travel RN) • Location Bel Air, MD 21014 (Harford County; Baltimore-area) • Unit 3W Cardiac Telemetry • Contract Length 13 weeks • Start Date April 6, 2026 • Shift Nights - 3x12-hour shifts (1900 - 0730) • Hours per Week 36 • Patient Population Adults / Geriatrics • Estimated Weekly Pay $1,920 - $2,020 Required Qualifications • Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license (must be active at time of submission) • Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry / Telemetry RN experience required • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification • Travel nursing experience preferred; strong clinicians new to travel nursing will be considered • Experience with electronic charting systems required • Two professional references from recent employers (one supervisor/manager, one charge RN) • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) • Must reside at least 50 miles from facility Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and telemetry monitoring needs • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response and code situations • Administer and manage specialty drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, Lasix (non-titratable) • Care for post-MI patients, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and stroke/TIA patients • Utilize remote telemetry monitoring (Hicuity System) and operate specialized equipment (Alaris IV pumps, Coviden feeding pump, Zebra portable phones) • Float to similar or lower-acuity units within the hospital as needed • Work every other weekend and scheduled holidays • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, rapid response) • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control and isolation precautions Why Join Our Travel Nursing Team • Grow your career as a Cardiac Telemetry RN at a leading Maryland medical center • Supportive clinical team in a vibrant Bel Air community with easy access to Baltimore • Competitive weekly pay for travel nurses and a chance to gain strong telemetry experience Apply now to take the next step in your travel nursing career as a Telemetry RN in Bel Air, MD.
