About the position Right at Home is a locally owned home health agency serving Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and the Des Moines Metro, and we are growing our nursing team. We are currently hiring a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality in-home nursing care while enjoying the flexibility to create a schedule that works for your life. This role is ideal for nurses seeking supplemental income, work-life balance, or a flexible PRN schedule around family, school, or another position. Responsibilities • Provide skilled nursing care to clients in their homes • Conduct initial client assessments and home safety evaluations • Perform nurse delegation and supervision of caregivers/home health aides • Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members • Communicate professionally with clients, families, referral sources, and staff • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in WellSky • Follow all agency policies and regulatory standards Requirements • Active Iowa RN license in good standing • Current CPR certification • Mandatory Reporter certification • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insured vehicle • Ability to travel within a 45-minute radius of Des Moines • Ability to meet employee health requirements for direct patient care Benefits • Flexible schedule • Competitive pay $45–$55 per hour, based on experience • Flexible PRN scheduling • One-on-one patient care in the home setting • Same-day pay available through Tapcheck • Paid training and continuing education (CEUs) • Supportive local leadership team • Opportunity for additional hours and growth as our Des Moines service area expands • Variety in patient caseloads and clinical experience
