This role is responsible for developing and optimizing promotional planning, pricing strategies, and store layouts while ensuring seamless communication and execution across merchandising and store operations. You will play a critical role in aligning merchandising strategy with store execution to deliver a consistent and compelling customer experience across our 9,000+ stores.<br><br><strong>Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead strategic initiatives to drive sales growth through promotional planning, pricing optimization, and floor/space planning</li><li>Partner closely with Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing to align enterprise priorities and execution strategies</li><li>Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on sales-driving initiatives, store productivity, and in-store experience<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Optimize Floor & Space Planning<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the development, refinement, and execution of store floor plans to support merchandising and corporate initiatives</li><li>Partner cross-functionally to ensure layouts maximize sales productivity and operational efficiency</li><li>Oversee development of schematics, display guides, flow guides, and zone-a-grams to support store execution</li><li>Ensure consistency and clarity in store layouts across all formats and initiatives<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Efficient Operation of Model Stores<br><br></strong><ul><li>Optimize Model Store gondolas and fixture space to support import trips, line reviews, and special projects</li><li>Oversee logistics of the Sample Approval Letter process, including UPC approval and sample storage</li><li>Serve as a consultant to Merchants on store execution capabilities and constraints<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Develop & Execute Merchandise Strategy<br><br></strong><ul><li>Collaborate with Merchants to develop and support merchandising strategies and promotional events</li><li>Oversee the creation and execution of store sets and promotional event guides</li><li>Lead Project Managers supporting key initiatives such as Drive-the-Business and Field Leadership Summit</li><li>Partner with Marketing on development of in-store signage and promotional materials<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Communication & Store Execution<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead development of communication tools including Sales Planners, Weekly Store Newsletters, and Special Project Communiques</li><li>Ensure clear, consistent communication of merchandising programs and promotions to stores</li><li>Partner with Store Operations to drive alignment and execution at the store level</li><li>Facilitate store feedback sessions and conduct store visits to identify opportunities and improve execution<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Pricing Strategy & Competitive Analysis<br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee processes to maintain and optimize retail price files, including price adjustments and issue resolution</li><li>Lead efforts to monitor and deliver competitive retail pricing analysis across the organization</li><li>Identify pricing opportunities to enhance competitiveness and profitability<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Leadership & Talent Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, including succession planning and capability building</li><li>Establish and implement talent development programs across the function</li><li>Serve as a mentor and leader across the broader organization<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>12+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail merchandising, pricing, space planning, or related functions</li><li>Proven experience leading large, cross-functional teams in a complex retail environment</li><li>Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising execution, and promotional strategy</li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution at scale</li><li>Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Your Perks and Benefits:<br><br></strong>We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
