Investment Banking Specialists at UMB are experts at building customer relationships and recommending products and services. Planning the Utilization of Your Time:

Use customized queries to turn routine transactions, account management tasks, and service inquiries into meaningful discussions that promote additional offerings and strengthen client relationships
Proactively generate sales leads by contacting prospects, meeting with businesses to introduce workplace banking services, and building relationships to earn referrals
Effectively manage competing priorities while achieving daily performance metrics
Participate in learning activities such as processing transactions, managing cash systems, and completing banking paperwork according to industry standards and legal regulations

We Are Looking for Candidates Who:

Thrive in a high-energy, sales-focused team environment and utilize daily coaching to enhance performance
Apply product knowledge to positively impact customers’ financial situations through meaningful conversations
Demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a results-driven approach
Pay attention to detail in tasks such as completing paperwork or explaining product benefits
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Have at least one year of retail or customer-facing experience, advising clients and generating sales
Have reliable transportation and availability during branch hours, including some weekends and evenings
Can obtain NMLS registration within 90 days, if all conditions are met
