Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives.  
 

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.  

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Execute procurement processes, including RFP (Request for Proposal) preparation, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and purchase order management, to align with organizational objectives. 
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely communication. 
  • Manage sourcing activities to procure goods, materials, supplies, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and securing favorable terms. 
  • Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance, resolving issues related to delays, shortages, or quality to ensure uninterrupted supply. 
  • Prepare and analyze price proposals, financial reports, and procurement data to support cost optimization and strategic decision-making. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs (Request for Proposal), supplier negotiations, and contract oversight. 
  • Advanced proficiency in English 

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English. 
  • Experience analyzing supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance, and resolving delivery issues. 
  • Experience with SAP (Procurement functions, MRP, Business Warehouse, or Business Objects). 
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in procurement and supply chain processes. 
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, with a focus on ensuring compliance.
