You’ll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA’s technology, curriculum and community.Class times (PST): Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PMKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Applied Math, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.</li><li>Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.</li><li>Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt your teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes for every student.</li><li>Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.</li><li>Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA’s online learning resources and technology.</li><li>Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback that encourages student growth.</li><li>Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.</li><li>Manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).</li><li>A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.</li><li>Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.</li><li>Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and, where relevant, associated external examinations.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. a postgraduate certificate in education, a teaching degree, or a teaching license).</li><li>Previous online teaching experience.</li></ul>About Crimson Global AcademyCGA is a world-class online school delivering live, real-time learning to ambitious students around the world.
