Support Navy Federal's leaders and business partners to identify critical learning gaps and recommend the best learning solution to support business unit objectives and enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with Navy Federal's University learning model and enterprise strategy. Collaborate enterprise-wide with operational and learning community partners to understand organizational / department learning needs and support the development of strategy-focused learning. Partner with talent development, the enterprise learning community and subject matter experts to curate, validate, and develop content and learning resources, tools, and self-directed content to support enterprise strategy and goals. Support the measurement of effectiveness of learning solutions and programs. Support learning subject matter experts in providing knowledge of design programs, principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies and apply each, ensuring a positive learner/customer experience and alignment with Navy Federal's overall strategy and culture.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of learning strategies, tactics and solutions and assist in the design and development of learning solutions and content for one or more professional development or employee upskilling programs
  • Facilitate learning solutions for professional development, employee upskilling and other areas as applicable
  • Gather data and conduct analysis on less complex sets of data to evaluate and analyze training effectiveness
  • Collaborate in the development of reference materials, support tools and leader resources that reinforce strategic learning
  • Remain current with industry learning best practices and technical, product and program enhancements
  • Support multiple small-scale Division/Branch projects and programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Hybrid/Partial telework environment across multiple work locations (Determined by Business Unit Leader)
  • The scope and focus of work for Learning Solutions Architects in L&TD (HR) are aligned at the enterprise level
  • Learning Solutions Architects operating outside of the HR division, will have a scope and focus that is more directly aligned to the business unit/department level needs
Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more of the following: program management and evaluation, learning science, communications, instructional design, organizational development and/or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training
  • Willingness to learn, use a growth mindset and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application
  • Experience in conducting needs assessment and analysis for learning solutions
  • Experience effectively building relationships with and influencing team members and management
  • Experience measuring ROI on learning solutions
  • Exposure to compiling, organizing and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management
  • Experience in synchronous learning and/or facilitation for individuals or groups
  • Experience in working and participating in cross-functional teams and projects
  • Fundamental understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resources
  • Exposure to building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively in difficult situations
  • Exposure to organizational, planning, and project management skills and knowledge
  • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to include speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently hold or previously held FINRA Series 7 and combination of NASAA Series 63/65 or 66 registration, and Life & Health Insurance License.
  • Familiarity with financial services operating models, including brokerage, registered investment advisory (RIA), and/or financial planning environments, with the ability to apply that understanding to Navy Federal Financial Group’s integrated service model.
