POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for providing solutions support for specialized networks and accounts utilizing various contact platforms such as phone, email, chat, or social media.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Research and provide forward thinking solutions for shipment, claim, and account-related issues leading to positive customer interactions 
2.    Utilize interpersonal and rapport building skills to promote customer engagement and demonstrate empathy in handling difficult interactions. 
3.    Respond to customers’ issues utilizing various platforms such as phone, email, chat, or social media.
4.    Ensure forward-thinking solutions for shipment issues leading to positive customer interactions.  
5.    Utilize interpersonal and rapport building skills to promote customer engagement and demonstrate empathy in handling difficult interactions.
6.    Assist in communicating updates to top accounts when notified of shipment delays or issues, ensuring ongoing coordination and follow through until the matter is resolved.
7.    Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
8.    Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Eighteen (18) months experience in the specialty Customer Representative position  

  • Extensive knowledge of FedEx tracking systems Interpersonal Skill

  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate sensitive customer issues

  • Microsoft Office 

  • Skill at using mental reasoning or research to gain insight into or solve problems
