What we look for? We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with a strong focus on AWS Cloud to join our team in Málaga (remote model).

This is a key role for shaping enterprise-grade cloud solutions, defining architectural standards, and influencing technical direction across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-proof architectures aligned with strategic goals. Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

  • Define and design cloud architectures and solution patterns to address complex business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Produce high-level and detailed architectural designs for cloud-based components, tiers, and integrations using AWS services.
  • Lead technology, product, and service assessments, including AWS offerings and third-party tools, providing clear recommendations aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Drive the creation of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate architectural approaches and innovative solutions.Establish and maintain cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across teams and projects.Provide technical leadership and mentoring, supporting teams during solution design and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and infrastructure stakeholders to align architectural decisions with strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to cloud migration and modernization strategies, defining target architectures and adoption roadmaps.Stay up to date with AWS innovations and industry trends, proactively identifying improvement and optimization opportunities.
  • Act as a cloud-native advocate, promoting architectural excellence across the organization.

What do we expect from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technical Application Architecture.
  • Proven experience leading AWS-based cloud architecture initiatives.
  • Strong background in solution design across infrastructure, applications, and integration layers.
  • Fluent English is required Spanish is a plus.

Skills Knowledge

  • Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience defining enterprise-level and hybrid cloud architectures, including migration strategies.
  • Strong understanding of systems design, networking, security, and distributed architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of application integration, APIs, and microservices design.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA): messaging, streaming, and pub/sub patterns.
  • Practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud governance, compliance frameworks, and security principles.
  • Experience creating architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
  • Ability to evaluate, compare, and recommend technologies and services.

Desired Skills

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (or other advanced AWS certifications).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS EventBridge, SNS, SQS, or Apache Kafka.
  • Experience applying DDD in complex distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to observability and monitoring frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
