What to expect

We’re looking for a commercially minded Banking Framework Lead to drive the performance of the Post Office’s Banking Framework to ensure we deliver on our long term commercial and contractual obligations. You will lead the commercial and financial performance of the framework with oversight of key subcontractors, using your banking and financial services expertise to shape decisions that underpin our commercial proposition.


In this role, you\'ll champion our Operator first mindset, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of inclusion and high performance. You’ll provide clear, insight led leadership across governance, financial modelling, risk management, and cross functional deliver, ensuring our cash and banking services remain resilient, compliant, and commercially optimised. What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in commercial management roles within Banking, Payments, or Financial Services: In addition, you will possess:
• Extensive experience working in commercial contract management roles within banking, payments, or financial services
• Demonstrated experience in financial performance, pricing strategy, including scenario modelling and governance
• Hands-on experience managing material sub-contractors
• Experience in regulated environments
• Successful delivery of product roadmaps and change programmes in cross-functional settings
• Strong background in financial modelling, data analytics, and performance reporting
• Exposure to contract management, including SLAs, OLAs, and risk frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and digital transformation in banking, payments, financial services or fintech
