Key job responsibilities <ul><li> Design and build scalable, event-driven data systems that process billions of ad impressions, clicks, and conversion events daily at petabyte scale</li><li> Develop and evolve AWS-based architectures to manage the scale and complexity of advertising data growth</li><li> Build performance reporting and analytics solutions that empower global advertisers to connect media investments to customer outcomes</li><li> Deliver extensible solutions that navigate multiple stakeholder needs and address complex problems including causal inference</li><li> Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, product managers, and engineers to define and ship customer-focused reporting products</li><li> Drive operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of high-volume data pipelines </li></ul>Basic Qualifications <ul><li> 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience</li><li> 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience</li><li> Experience programming with at least one software programming language </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li> 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience</li><li> Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent </li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
