Description

Summary:

Who We Are

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's most dynamic cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. That's where you come in. You'll help bring the virtue of hospitality to life while we create an environment that allows you to be your best self and grow.

We are hiring an Area Sales Coordinator to support our hotel sales team. This is a hotel sales support role for an organized, detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives behind the scenes — managing leads, coordinating group bookings, drafting proposals, and keeping the sales engine running smoothly. If you're looking for hotel sales coordinator jobs, an entry-level hotel sales position, or a hospitality sales support role where you can learn the business from the inside and grow into a Sales Manager role, this is your opportunity with one of the country's most growth-oriented hotel management companies.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Support the hotel sales team by routing incoming sales leads, drafting group proposals, and managing group bookings from initial inquiry through confirmation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts — fully understanding their event and group needs and proactively communicating all relevant details to hotel operations teams for seamless execution
  • Prepare and distribute sales contracts, group resumes, banquet event orders (BEOs), and other sales correspondence with accuracy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the hotel sales system (Delphi, CI/TY, or comparable platform) — tracking leads, bookings, and client communications across all assigned properties
  • Assist in coordinating and executing sales blitzes, client appreciation events, site visits, and property tours that support the team's prospecting and account development efforts
  • Respond promptly to incoming sales inquiries via phone and email — qualifying leads and routing them to the appropriate Sales Manager with full context and documentation
  • Support the Director of Sales and Senior Sales Managers with reporting, forecasting documentation, and presentation preparation as needed
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients and internal hotel teams — representing the White Lodging sales team with professionalism and a service-first mindset
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Prior hotel sales, hospitality, events, or administrative support experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate with the right attitude and organizational instincts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you draft clear, professional proposals and correspondence and communicate confidently with clients and hotel operations teams alike
  • Strong relationship-building skills — with clients, sales teammates, and internal hotel departments
  • Impeccable time management and organizational skills — you manage multiple deadlines, bookings, and client needs simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) — experience with hotel sales systems such as Delphi or CI/TY a strong plus
  • A genuine interest in growing a career in hotel sales — you're curious, coachable, and motivated to learn the full sales process from the inside out
