Job Overview Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.

Job Requirements Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.

Key job responsibilities

(2nd Shift Only Position) - Production Associates Use Their General Knowledge Of Manufacturing Tools (including But Not Limited To Torque Tools, Wrenches, Channel Locks, Etc.) And Follow Written/verbal Instructions To Perform The Following
  • Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
  • Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
  • Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
  • Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
  • Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
  • General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions
A day in the life
  • Apply a deep understanding of a broad range of tools, lab equipment, and material handling machines to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams to deliver on production schedules.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ERP transactions and troubleshooting material discrepancies.
  • Deliver high-quality work that incorporates manufacturing best practices and exceeds team performance targets.
  • Role model safety, productivity, and quality standards, escalating risks appropriately.
  • Lead or participate in initiatives that improve productivity, cost efficiency, and workplace safety.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read and follow English-language instructions.
  • Ability to work safely in structured manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing tools (torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing assembly, logistics, or material handling roles.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment and robotics assembly processes.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring peers or leading small process-improvement projects.
  • Experience in quality systems, traceability, and root cause analysis.

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
