PART-TIME WAREHOUSE/CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION

SPS Fire Protection is seeking a part-time employee for our Wichita, KS location.

At SPS Fire Protection, we provide premier fire protection products and fabrication to the fire protection industry in the greater Wichita area and surrounding states. Products and services offered include pipe fittings, valves, pipe hangers, and fire sprinkler accessories as well as metal pipework services.

In this position, responsibilities include:
• Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and to stock material in the warehouse
• The ability to lift to 70lbs on occasion
• Receiving product into our computer system
• Maintaining inventory levels
• Entering and picking orders for customers
• Using computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as running reports within our system to manage inventory cycle counts.
• Occasional deliveries to be made with our pickup truck as well as our 25' trailer, mainly within the Wichita area.

Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.

This is a Part-Time position with a total of 20 hours per week required. Hours can be flexible between 7am and 3:30 PM. Starting wage is $15 per hour.

Any offer of employment is contingent on successful completion of background screening, to include a drug screen and physical and the ability to qualify for our fleet safety requirements to operate company vehicles.
