A Tire Warehouse in downtown Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a responsible, motivated individual with an outstanding work ethic to join their team as a Warehouse Team Member. The ideal candidate works well in a team environment in an outdoor warehouse setting and is able to engage in heavy loading and unloading work for 8-10 hours a day.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for receiving and loading shipments for distribution.
You will manually load and unload tires. Candidates must work well with other team members and adhere to all safety procedures.
You MUST be comfortable with working in elevated temperatures and consistent lifting.
You MUST be able to read orders, inventory lists, and inspect tires for damages before receiving shipment.

Responsibilities:

Unload tires from trucks and stack them on pallets.
Load tires onto trucks.
Aid in shipping/receiving procedures.
Assist team members with rolling tires to their proper location.
Call out tire specifications and inspect tires for damages.
Work with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean workspace free of hazards.

Requirements:

Previous distribution/warehouse experience (at least 1 year) is STRONGLY preferred.
Must be able to work in elevated temperatures.
Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
Must be able to work Overtime (50+ hours) and occasional Saturdays.
Must be able to pass Background Check & Drug Test.
