Role and Responsibilities:

As a Stock Clerk, you will play an essential role in store efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

  • Unload, organize, and stock merchandise on shelves in assigned areas.
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked, properly rotated, and attractively displayed.
  • Assist customers by responding to product inquiries and providing guidance.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report stock discrepancies as needed.
  • Follow company guidelines for handling restricted items such as alcohol and tobacco.
  • Ensure stock areas are clean, safe, and organized.
  • Support promotional and seasonal product displays to maximize visibility.
  • Collaborate with associates and leadership to ensure smooth store operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a stock clerk, cashier, or in customer service roles.
