Job Summary: 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Scheduling & Analytics to join our ABC Content Strategy and Scheduling team, overseeing the planning and performance of the ABC linear channel. Reporting to the SVP of Content Strategy & Scheduling, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the 52-week planning grid for ABC primetime, ensuring accurate program inventory, and providing schedule grids for key stakeholders. This role requires leadership and collaboration skills to coordinate with programming, network operations, and publicity teams to ensure accurate and professional program bookings. The Senior Manager, Analytics & Scheduling will also manage a coordinator, develop long-term scenarios to optimize the program schedule, track and share competitive broadcast schedule releases, and collaborate with IT to identify and validate product enhancements on the scheduling system.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within content planning and/or analytics for a linear network

  • In-depth understanding of Scheduling and Programming and a comprehensive knowledge of broadcast network operations.

  • Comfort navigating complex data environments.

  • Experience in curating and analyzing large datasets to derive business insights.

  • Strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Superior organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management and staff.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion and insight into ABC content and The Walt Disney Company segments, brands, and franchises, with the expertise to build further audience engagement.

  • Experience with data analytics and performance metrics to inform scheduling decisions.

  • Familiarity with competitive analysis and market research in the broadcast industry.

  • Knowledge of digital and streaming platforms and their impact on linear scheduling.

  • Experience in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot scheduling and operational issues.

  • Understanding of audience behavior and trends to enhance programming strategies.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience

**Please note this role is in office 4x/week (Monday – Thursday) and work from home on Friday.  The preferred location would be Burbank, CA; however, we will consider candidates who can work in our NYC office. 


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $103,500.00 to $138,800.00 per year and in New York, NY is $108,400.00 to $145,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
