The Amazon Shipping is looking for a Sr Manager, Billing & Payments to lead our WW B&P team. This team's objective is to support all Billing & Payment issues for our shippers.

You will be responsible for supporting process creation, and continuous improvement. The role requires the ability to work cross-functionally across operational and technical teams improving our processes for billing, payments and credit check.

Key job responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work across senior levels of leadership in multiple organizations to align on policy and proposed controls, as well as deliver at a high bar for quality.

In this role you will demonstrate excellent judgment, communication skills, instincts in decision-making and proactively and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business and relevant technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of financial product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of working directly with credit/finace teams experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • Proficiency in SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing payment and credit systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
