Mercor is seeking expert evaluators to support a high-impact evaluation workflow in partnership with a leading AI research lab.<br><br>This project focuses on the <strong>Sports Analytics domain</strong>, where you will assess agent-generated research reports related to player statistics, team performance data, league standings, historical records, and game analytics.<br><br><strong>Who We're Hiring<br><br></strong>We are looking for evaluators with a background in <strong>Sports Analytics, Data Analysis, Sports Management, Statistics, or related fields.<br><br></strong>This role is ideal for professionals who have:<br><br><ul><li>2–3 years of professional experience in sports analytics, performance analysis, sports data research, or related roles </li><li>Experience working with player statistics, advanced metrics, and performance indicators </li><li>Familiarity with team performance data, win-loss trends, and efficiency metrics </li><li>Experience in analysing league standings, rankings, and seasonal comparisons </li><li>Hands-on exposure to historical sports records and longitudinal performance data </li><li>Experience interpreting game analytics such as play-by-play data, predictive models, or advanced statistical metrics </li><li>Experience sourcing and validating sports datasets, statistical tables, and historical records from credible public sources </li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail </li><li>Excellent written communication skills </li><li>Comfort working independently and asynchronously <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Educational Background:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Sports Management, Economics, or a related field<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Evaluate agent-generated research reports for accuracy, relevance, data integrity, and clarity </li><li>Assess insights derived from player statistics, team metrics, and game analytics </li><li>Verify statistical tables, historical records, and league data using reputable public sources </li><li>Identify inconsistencies in performance analysis, comparative metrics, and trend interpretations </li><li>Work independently to complete evaluations within deadlines </li><li>Maintain consistency and precision across all assigned tasks <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Role Details<br><br></strong><ul><li>Part-time (20–40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling </li><li>Competitive rates: $40–$60/hour depending on expertise</li></ul>
