Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Spark Engineer (multiple positions) in San Francisco, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

Design and develop Custom Batch Frameworks to read, transform and write millions of records into different data sources.
Develop Delta Lake for B2B marketing applications using Spark, Java, Delta IO, Microsoft Azure and paraquet files.
Migrate legacy B2B marketing batch applications to the custom Spark framework developed.
Build microservice components and B2B data pipelines.
Develop ETL Job to fetch analytical data from Delta Lake and store in MSSQL Server.
Build custom SPLUNK Dashboard with customer KPI metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, or a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:

Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following:

Developing core Java based stand-alone application(s); Developing Spring Boot micro service for prospecting customers; Using MSSQL and Casandra for storing B2B customer data; and Apache Spark, SQL, CQL, NoSQL DB, Javascript, HTML, CSS, NodeJs, Log4j, SLf4j, SPLUNK, Junit5, Mockito, PowerMock, Jenkins, and GitLab.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $155,605.00 - $194,500.00
