Burpee is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Digital Content Strategist to join our Brand Creative team. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that amplify our brand voice, engage with our community of gardening enthusiasts, and promote our products through compelling digital content. Role And Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy Development:
Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Content Planning & Creation:
Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience. This includes graphics, photos, videos, and written content, tailored to each social media platform.
Community Engagement:
Monitor social media channels daily, respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages, and foster a positive, engaging community of garden enthusiasts.
Campaign Management:
Oversee social media campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring they align with Burpee’s brand values, seasonal themes, and product launches.
Social Media Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Use data to optimize strategies, identify trends, and improve future content and engagement tactics.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints and to support key product launches, promotions, and events.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends:
Keep up with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure Burpee remains innovative in its digital marketing efforts.

Experience:

- Sampling of work required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital content creation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and tools (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Insights, Sprout, Canva, etc.).
- Experience in social strategy planning and execution, including paid social media campaigns.
- Proven track record of building and growing engaged online communities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for gardening or the home and garden industry is a plus!
