Qualis Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to be an integral member of our well rounded team in Orlando, FL.

Duties:

Member of Government program Enterprise Engineering Team
Designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems.
Directs overall system level testing.
Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
Prepares detailed specifications for programs.
Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Identifies the program Technical Architecture Configuration Incidents and ensures they are assigned a version IAW a provided Information Technology Services Management Implementation Guide (ITSM IG)
Assigns each Configuration Incident (CI) a unique name and number IAW the ITSM IG and determines when changes must be made to these
Identifies and manages CIs
Ensures external component (hardware or software) use is understood, analyzed, and properly managed
Negotiates Configuration Management (CfM) involvement with external stakeholders and captures these in MOA/MOUs as required
Coordinates the creation of CCPs
Generates CCPs in accordance with this ITSM IG
Requests information and impacts from the RM team/Integrator for changes as required
Ensures proper relationships are established between all data in the Configuration Management System
Reviews products delivered by vendors and/or Contractor/Integrators to ensure all necessary information has been provided and that the product was developed in accordance with established requirements and procedures

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineer, software engineering
Must have at least 7 to 10 years of experience
Must have a DoD Secret security clearance
