Position Overview

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant at Proudfoot, you will be at the forefront of delivering a range of consulting activities in transformative projects. You'll guide and direct junior consultants and client members, managing one or more workstreams through the entire project lifecycle and ensuring successful implementation.

Main Accountabilities

  • Delivery: Accountable for delivering results for one or more workstreams on a project
  • Collaboration: Work with client staff to identify performance gaps and develop solutions
  • Implementation: Manage implementation, audit resultsand take corrective actions as necessary
  • Training and Development: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to equip clients with the skills needed for sustainable changes
  • Relationship Building: Develop results-based relationships with client personnel, actively seeking opportunities for cross-selling and additional work

Day-to-Day Life

No two days are ever the same. You'll work in diverse settings, whether on the shop floor or in the boardroom, with travel and change being constants in the lifestyle of a project manager. Reporting to the Market Leader, you'll manage relationships with senior client management through steering groups.

Skills And Experience

  • Education: First degree in Science or Engineering, ideally with a master’s in management/business
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in industrial manufacturing, natural resources/mining & energy sectors in the following roles - operations, maintenance, supply chain, internal OPEX, Transformation teams, financial control, environmental change, energy-renewables, behavioral change-industrial psychology
  • Methodologies: Knowledge of business performance improvement methodologies like reengineering, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of Finance (P&L’s, Balance sheets, cost management), proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in English is essentialfor effective work in these languages - French and Spanish capabilities a plus
  • Storefront: A successful candidate will have a record of client management, the ability to manage time constraints, and a 100% commitment to personal development and the Proudfoot brand. Your leadership skills, business development acumen, energy and effective communication will ensure you excel in this vital position
