Job Description:

  • The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including:
  • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Coordinating closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Senate Product Owner (PO) to align priorities and expectations
  • Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensuring adherence to Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies and established project governance frameworks
  • Overseeing project communications, including status reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive briefings
  • Ensuring all deliverables meet defined quality standards and performance requirements
  • Facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, and business stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing IT implementation projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations, preferably PeopleSoft HCM
  • Proven experience managing Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing projects involving payroll systems and/or financial system integrations
  • Experience working in government or legislative environments (desired)
  • Familiarity with federal project governance and compliance standards (desired)
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications (desired)
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
