Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our API and Integrations team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our API products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define Product Vision and Strategy:

Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for API products. Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the development and release of new features and enhancements. Develop complete stories and maintain a well-groomed team backlog.

  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with engineering, QA, downstream data providers, experience teams, and business partners to develop and launch products. Gather and prioritize product requirements against feedback, analysis, and business objectives.

  1. Oversee Product Development:

Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch and ongoing optimization. Ensure the API meets specified requirements and adheres to high quality standards. Create and maintain technical documentation for the API to ensure proper usage and integration.

  1. Monitor and Improve Product Performance:

Ensure development of non-functional requirements, including observability needs. Track and analyze API performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications: Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously update and enhance the API.

  1. Drive Adoption and Usage:

Provide training and support to users and developers to ensure successful API integration. Lead development of high quality, consumable documentation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a focus on APIs and integrations. Strong understanding of API technologies, API specifications, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
