As the Principal, NSW Team & License Sales NA you will report to the Sr Sales Director of Nike Sportswear, and your main collaborators will be Nike Sportswear and Energy team members in Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning across North America and Global, designated channel teams and accounts. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Principal in sales who will work with the Sportswear Leadership in North America to develop and execute seasonal sales plans, managing allocations and financial plans for multiple accounts and channels and leading seasonal sales gates. This role will help foster key market and account insights back into the sport teams to inform future strategies and marketplace opportunities. The ideal candidate has a proven record of leading key business initiatives with clear results, developing and executing plans in highly matrixed environments, and has a strong leadership presence working cross-functionally. The capacity to deal with ambiguity and high resilience while influencing enterally and externally will be key to the success of this role. Account Management/Account Relationships: Develop strong account relationships that lead to collaborative account management. Establish strong relationships with key customer employees including executives, buyers, etc. in order to influence and execute Nike’s account plans. Strategic Planning: Develop, apply, and oversee the strategic account strategy. Create and implement short and long-term business plans for achieving revenue growth and other financial targets. Lead and oversee the process for realistic and accurate scenario planning, forecasting, seasonal initiatives, business analysis, and new sales opportunities. Enterprise mapping of the designated channel retail marketplace to drive deep consumer connections and create a halo for other retail distribution channels. WHAT YOU WILL BRING The ideal candidate has worked in the industry in similar sales, merchandising or retail role, or other relatable experience. 8 years of soccer business management or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combintion of education, experience, and training Proven ability to work with and lead teams across functions WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON As our Principal- NSW sales you will create and sell in seasonal plans for some of designated channels and accounts in North America across footwear and apparel. The following are key deliverables of this work: •Lead Seasonal Sport commercial strategy for the Geo by channel, including direction on must win partners & key retail destinations •Plan and drive outcomes against annual & seasonal multi-brand commercial targets, and deliver against specific channel growth outcomes •Partner with Sr Sales Director and Merchandising to land Segmentation Framework •Influence seasonal assortments and deliver channel/account level allocations to align with product strategy, intent, & financial targets •Drive seasonal readiness and inspiration through Sport GTM planning & execution •GTM – Communicate seasonal sales strategies/directions, target aspirations, channel strategies and segmentations. •KAPM–Lead channel presentations to key partners •Drive seasonal sell through and retail partner end-to-end execution in support of channel goals •Partner with account teams, merchandising and Geo sales planning on inventory health & franchise management •Ensure the Sport retail vision lands in the marketplace and share best practices •Marketplace management & development (new distribution opportunities, existing partner expansions) •Gather, synthesize marketplace, product & competitive insights into Global & Geo Sport squads •Seasonless Execution including one-off requests, managing quick strike/incremental product allocations, responding and actioning on updates, and urgent marketplace needs •Partner with the x-functional team to ensure key launches land in the marketplace with impact.
