Amazon advertising offers advertisers a rich array of media solutions inclusive of Live Sports.

Our team is looking for a seasoned advertising and sponsorship GTM to serve as a Live Sports Sponsorship GTM responsible for driving advertising revenue through the creation of marketing value surrounding Live Sports properties at Amazon. The Live Sports Sponsorship GTM specialist will report directly to Head of Live Sports Brand Partnerships, within larger Live Sports Sales team. The specialist will work with League partners, Prime Video Production, Programming and Video Ads Product Team to define integration and sponsorship opportunities across Live Sports properties such as Thursday Night Football, NASCAR, NWSL and WNBA, and determine go-to-market (GTM) strategies. They will partner with sales, pricing and planning teams and ultimately ensure Amazon’s Live Sports sponsorship offering meets the needs of our Advertising customers.

Contribute to development of Live Sports’ sponsorship offerings, alongside Sales, Product, Content, Business, Finance and Creative Strategist teams.
Drive Sport Sponsorship GTM and Sales efforts including contribution to the Upfront/annual sales cycle, leading certain client meetings and engagements
Annually prepare GTM narratives and inputs for sales strategy sessions.
Translate sports rights into sellable sponsorship packages
Serve as center of excellence on specific league matters related to Ad Policy, Programming and Compliance.

Partner to support think big ideation, asset creation and packaging for sport property

Drive adoption of Prime Video’s sponsorship offerings, including revenue goals, product adoption, advertiser maturity advancement, renewals, etc.
Aggregate Voice of Customer (VOC) sand partner with programming, production and product teams to drive sponsorship solutions by sport, to deliver upon customer needs while driving growth for Amazon.
Produce stack-ranked set of sales priorities and influence requirements, roadmap decisions and trade-offs.
Utilize industry expertise on trends, consumer behavior and emerging media technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation in Live Sports sponsorship.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
7+ years of sports management, Live Sports, sports rights and sponsorship experience
integrated marketing, Live Sports partnerships experience
7+ years’ experience working cross functionally with production and league partners in sports
Strong track record in developing, launching and executing premium Live Sports sponsorships.
Experience in strategic thinking about business, integrated marketing or related roles in the Live Sports and video advertising/streaming industry.
Ability to quickly assess current high-potential opportunity and articulate compelling vision for the Sales teams and stakeholder teams to rally around.
A self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively about sales, business, product and technical challenges with ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
Experience working in Upfronts
Highly collaborative with excellent relationship building skills with internal and external partners
Strong attention to detail – particularly important surrounding budget and timeline management, development of packages and pitch materials
Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
