Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing and drafting.

Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, specifications, and engineering documents. Demonstrated experience producing detailed mechanical and architectural drawings for construction or fabrication. Hands-on experience drafting structural layouts and details for building or industrial projects.

Practical experience with piping layout and design drafting, including coordination with other building systems. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and completeness of drawings. Ability to manage multiple drafting assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project priorities.

Desirable Skills: Familiarity with 3D modeling tools in addition to AutoCAD (e.g., AutoCAD 3D, Plant 3D, or similar). Experience working on industrial, energy, or large commercial projects. Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and drafting practices

Exposure to BIM workflows and coordination with other digital design tools. Prior experience in a contract or project-based drafting environment. Qualifications: Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Formal training or certification in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software. Additional coursework or certification in mechanical, architectural, structural, or piping design is preferred. A portfolio or sample set of technical drawings demonstrating drafting capability is advantageous.
