Key Responsibilities

Construction & Repair: Build, repair, and maintain walls, walkways, chimneys, foundations, and other structures using brick, stone, and concrete blocks.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate execution.
Material Preparation: Mix and prepare mortar, concrete, and adhesives, ensuring correct consistency and application.
Measurement & Layout: Measure distances, angles, and alignments to ensure precision in masonry work.
Cutting & Shaping: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut and shape materials as needed.
Safety & Maintenance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets structural and aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role.
Proficiency with masonry tools (trowels, chisels, levels, etc.).
Strong knowledge of materials including brick, stone, concrete, and mortar.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.
Physical stamina for demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with construction safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in masonry or a related field.
Experience with decorative or specialized masonry techniques.
Knowledge of both modern and traditional masonry methods.
