About the position

Responsibilities

  • Engage with our internal and external manufacturing partners to build and execute against digital maturity plans ensuring data is available for key business processes.
  • Become a trusted partner to DTE to deliver an understanding of our needs and vision enabling them to deliver technology solutions to support our goals and objectives.
  • Engage as a key participant in the strategic business planning process for our internal and external business partners.
  • Partner with DTE on how technology can improve business processes to enable operating efficiencies and support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
  • Work with external suppliers/integrators, internal technical experts, and project teams to design, develop and/or configure the manufacturing data applications/service at manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure requirements and technical specifications are documented in the appropriate requirements documents, SLC deliverables and/or CMDB.
  • Participate in the computer system validation (CSV) planning and execution of the solutions, authoring and/or contributing to key CSV deliverables.
  • Participate in the assessment, approval, and implementation of changes according to Vertex change management processes and procedures.
  • Establish, track and report on project value drivers and financial impact.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in building productive partnerships with business stakeholders and influencing them to take action.
  • Results oriented manager with a proven track record of on-time project delivery for large, complex projects with global stakeholders.
  • Self-directed individual able to work independently and collaboratively in matrixed team environment, lead cross functional team members to complete assigned workstream tasks in a timely manner with expected level of quality.
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing business processes such as order management, material management, genealogy, track and trace, production batch record, historization of process data with asset and event contextualization in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in leveraging data driven approaches for optimization, investigations, and operational excellence initiatives in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, execute, and document complex technical designs, translate business needs and functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • In-depth and specialized knowledge in the core disciplines of project management, business analysis, solution design, delivery, and training.
  • In-depth and specialized understanding of the business, processes, and any appropriate regulatory environments.
  • Written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, including the development of business cases/value propositions.
  • Substantial program/project management, demand management, resource management and system life cycle expertise.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities including development of business case/value propositions.
  • Proven capabilities in people management and building high-performing teams.
  • Prior experience with running IT managed services or outsourced/offshore teams.
  • Superior MS Office skills, including MS Project & Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
