The IT Foundation Site Lead is responsible for local site leadership for all matters concerning IT/OT in Chevron Singapore Lubricant and Fuels Terminals. Partner with the Business Digital Manager, CIS Manager, and IT Foundation Product Owners to define, capture and forecast Asset requirements and priorities into ITOF SAFe ceremonies (i.e. Strategic Portfolio, PI Planning). The scope includes the Downstream Facilities, Fuel Terminal, and Lubricant Plant located in Singapore.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Focus on operational performance, prioritizing IT site requests and representing new site capability requests working with platform teams
  • Manage MSP on provision of deskside, server and other IT infrastructure support needed for day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the IT strategy and portfolio for the company to ensure delivery of those needs through platform or co-located teams.
  • Influence a cross platform co-located team to ensure the operational needs of the site are met and deliver business and operational value
  • Work with F&L CIS Manager and DM&C Portfolio Management to manage local IT budget and ensure alignment on regional priorities and strategic directions.
  • Represent IT in the local leadership team in Singapore DM&C.
  • Provides daily operational support for applications by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions, identifying and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance.
  • Assists platforms with implementation of new IT initiatives in Singapore F&L Terminal, coordinating and leading activities such as User Testing and Training.
  • Proactive communication and quick response to production issues and project work. Strong customer focus.
  • Maintains IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate.
  • Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in IT asset management and IT/OT Operations
  • Working experience with on-prem as well as AZURE cloud, monitoring, network availability and latency, application performance and efficiency, change management, emergency response, demand forecast and capacity planning
  • Demonstrates ability to translate business requirements into deployed standardized and operationally sustainable technical solutions
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities; identify the root causes and develop solutions.
  • Enjoy teamwork environment in a High Performance Organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to cross-functional or global team collaboration
  • Possess good leadership and interpersonal skills; and able to work well with others in achieving team’s goals
  • Prior work experience in manufacturing environment, petrochemical or chemical industry will be advantageous
Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:
Selected candidate will be based in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
