Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist with a minimum of three years of geotechnical field experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record in geotechnical investigations, soil sampling, and field analysis.   Additional you will be in charge of the oversite and quality control of two facilities - one producing topsoil in Baltimore and one crushing and cleaning Class 2 fill materials in Baltimore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical field investigations, including soil sampling, logging, and testing.

  • Analyze and interpret data from field samples to assess environmental conditions and provide recommendations.

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project timelines and client expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of geotechnical field experience.

  • Proficiency in geotechnical testing and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $28/hour + Full family PPO Heath Care, Eye, Dental, 9 Paid Holidays and 7 PTO days off + $500 in savings per year + $500 in vehicle allowance per month.  The fringes are worth over $7.29 per hour (equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $77,500 based on 2,080 hours per year), plus full benefits.   Position is based in Baltimore.
