About the Team

We are seeking a Data Analyst, Individual Investors (II) Advice & Client Product Marketing team who will provide strong quantitative and critical thinking skills to help deliver a high-impact strategy for II clients.

Analysts don't just analyze marketing outcomes; they are active in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns. This end-to-end view is essential in building evidence and intuition on the overall effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

Role Summary

Data analysts play a key role in the overall growth value chain in the Individual Investors distribution team. This role is accountable for delivering value through unearthing client insights, driving testing in marketing and experiences, and assessing campaign and segment level performance.

Responsibilities

  • Test Design, execution, and post testing analysis: Working primarily in our marketing technology platforms, build and tests single and multi-campaigns to drive greater client engagement and mutual benefit. Execute components of multichannel marketing plans aligned to specific populations of prospects and clients.
  • Channel Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of various distribution channels. Identify trends, assess the effectiveness of strategies, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Analytical Reporting: Prepare detailed analytical reports and presentations, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Measure success and impact of channel and segment marketing plans by monitoring key performance indicators to inform future development of programs. May provide recommendations on additional key performance indicators, benchmarks, and tactical marketing plan adjustments.
  • Modeling and Forecasting: Develop, adapt, and refine forecasting models to support strategic planning and goal setting. Utilize advanced data modeling techniques to provide actionable insights and guide decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Possess strong quantitative analytical skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrate creativity, curiosity, and passion for data analysis, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL; Python experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience working closely with data scientists in developing predictive and large language models.
  • Prior experience designing, executing, and analyzing experiments, including hypothesis formulation, metric definition, and result interpretation.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a proven ability to cultivate and nurture relationships; results-oriented with accountability and ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or Math, with eagerness to learn, especially in marketing.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
