Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer - ASIC/FPGA for a position in Orlando, Florida. Here's your chance to be involved in some of our highly innovative and ingenious solutions to complex technical problems facing the aerospace industry.

Come leverage your technical, and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional
engineering Team environment. Support development of Cyber exploitation capabilities to improve integrity and security of weapon system environments.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Support penetration testing and related activities across a wide variety of platforms and technologies, using advanced techniques and methodologies, such as embedded hardware, electronic warfare, radio frequency, etc.

- Develop, design, verify, and document Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development supporting the implementation of Cybersecurity requirements focusing on Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA)

-Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation

- Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization

- Typically using specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results

- Apply extensive technical expertise, with full knowledge of other related disciplines to include Cybersecurity Engineering

- Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects

- Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations

Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance with an investigation within 5 years to be considered for this position*

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, OR equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with complex electronics and embedded systems, such as FPGA and hardware development
  • Extensive FPGA design experience
  • Must possess (or obtain within six months of employment start date) a DoD 8570.01-M certification
Desired Skills:
  • Strong technical communication skills (experience communicating technical designs to non-technical customers and communicating customer desires to technical team)
  • Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Ability to adapt well to change, as the working environment has evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
  • Agile development, configuration management and continuous integration processes and methodologies
  • Preparing system architectures and appropriate UML diagrams
  • Mentoring and leading groups
  • Industry standard agile development tools, such as Jira and Confluence
  • Working in small team environments
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
