Crew Person

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Cashiers and Cooks provide each customer with a positive customer service experience, prepare quality food products and keep the restaurant clean, pleasant & safe for all customers & employees. Customer Service / Cashier and Cook Responsibilities:

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide world class customer service at all times to our guests
  • Smile & greet guests and request order immediately upon arrival
  • Take orders & enter them into the point of sales terminal accurately
  • Suggestive sell & answer menu questions
  • Assemble orders, including condiments & other service items needed or requested
  • Handle all cash & credit card transactions
  • Clean & stock beverage bar.
  • Clean dining room tables & seating.
  • Recognize & adhere to all sanitation, safety, and security policies & procedures to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management & fellow team members.
  • Complete all the paperwork as required by the company and follow all policies & procedural guidelines as implemented by the management team.
  • Cashiers and Cooks must also complete all the tasks delegated by the management before & after their shift.

PREREQUISITES:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience and Skills: No previous experience required. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
