Overview As Content and Design Manager, you will lead the planning, creation, and delivery of high-quality content that supports IRIS Software Group's brand, product marketing, and demand strategies. You will manage the creative team and oversee the end-to-end content production process, ensuring timely delivery of impactful assets across campaigns, web, events, and other key marketing activity. Working closely with product marketing, demand and brand teams, you will play a key role in shaping IRIS' content strategy, ensuring that all content is consistent, compelling, and aligned to our global business objectives. You will bring creativity, operational excellence, and leadership to a function that underpins IRIS' reputation as a trusted partner to businesses in accounting, HR & Payroll and education sectors. Responsibilities * Content Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Communications, Product Marketing, and Demand to develop and deliver a content strategy that supports campaigns, thought leadership, and demand generation. * Creative Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop IRIS' creative team, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation, and professional growth. * Content Production Oversight: Own the content workflow and production calendar, from briefing through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Communications, and Product to translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible content. * Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice, maintaining consistency across all markets and platforms. * Channel Delivery: Oversee the production of a wide range of content formats - including web copy, blogs, whitepapers, customer stories, sales enablement materials, design assets, and multimedia. * Measurement & Optimisation: Define and track key performance indicators for content, using data to inform future planning and improve impact. * AI & Technology Integration: Champion the use of AI and emerging tools (e.g., writing assistants, design accelerators, project management automations, analytics platforms) to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and optimise content performance. * Innovation & Best Practice: Champion creative thinking, explore new formats, and ensure IRIS content keeps pace with digital and industry trends. Qualifications * 5+ years of in content marketing, writing, or creative management, ideally within a B2B technology, SaaS, or professional services environment. * Proven experience managing creative teams and coordinating cross-functional projects. * Demonstrated ability to build and execute content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and demand. * Strong project management skills with experience overseeing content calendars and production workflows with proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools. * Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and formats. * Familiarity with brand guidelines, design principles, and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, project management platforms such as Asana or Trello). * Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, editing and SEO (e.g., Copilot, Jasper, Grammarly, SEMRush). * Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies to improve team efficiency and output quality. * Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to measure and optimise content performance. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with global teams across multiple markets and time zones. * Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress). * Understanding of UX principles and how design and content intersect. * Understanding of SEO. * Experience optimising content for multi-channel delivery (web, social, campaigns, sales enablement). * Exposure to AI-driven marketing and analytics tools, with an interest in applying emerging technology to content workflows.
