About the position

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager and Senior Director with the day-to-day operation of the compliance and ethics program.
  • Assist Compliance Department leadership with closure documentation of complaints from patients, staff, and others.
  • Conduct independent reviews and provide guidance on compliance matters, including conflict of interest assessments.
  • Assist in the development of compliance program effectiveness reports for the Board Committee.
  • Administer and organize the compliance program, maintaining compliance records and tracking activities.
  • Maintain policies and procedures related to the compliance program and draft program procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on ethics and compliance issues.
  • Facilitate coordination and project management for the Committee on Management Controls and Compliance.
  • Manage documentation preparedness for regulatory compliance effectiveness and conduct assessments of compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement department priorities and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or University.
  • Three years of progressively responsible and directly related experience in healthcare compliance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally to diverse individuals and groups.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance program requirements, particularly in healthcare.
  • Ability to present complex issues clearly and concisely for senior leadership review.
  • Attention to detail in preparing investigation reports and other communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field.
  • CHC-Certification in Healthcare Compliance or willingness to obtain within one year.
  • Project Management Certification.
