Client Care Team Member (Weekends + Part-Time)

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Job Description

Be the steady voice that brings clarity and confidence to the home inspection process.

At Grand Home Inspection, we believe buying a home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Our mission is to deliver The Grand Experience — exceptional service, clear communication, and genuine care — so every client walks away feeling confident, informed, and at ease.

We’re looking for a Client Care Team Member to join our team on weekends (with some weekday coverage as needed). You’ll be the friendly, grounded voice that clients and agents hear when they need clarity, expertise, or just someone who knows how to handle a hectic moment with grace.

If you love connecting with people, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly — even when the phone’s ringing off the hook — this is your zone.

Why This Role Rocks

  • You’ll Be the Calm in the Storm: When clients are stressed, you’ll be their steady guide — answering questions, solving problems, and helping them feel at ease.
  • You’ll Build Connection That Converts: Learn the art of consultative communication — how to listen, guide, and confidently recommend the right inspection services so clients feel supported and excited to move forward.
  • You’ll Be Trusted: We’ll train you well, then let you do your thing. We believe in autonomy, not micromanagement.
  • You’ll Work with Good Humans: No corporate nonsense here — just a small, people-first team that supports each other.

What You’ll Do: Client Communication & Support

  • Be the first point of contact for clients and real-estate agents — answering calls, texts, and emails with professionalism and warmth.
  • Guide clients through scheduling and service options, helping them choose the best package for their needs.
  • Maintain accuracy in our scheduling software and CRMs while coordinating and managing inspectors’ calendars to keep routes efficient and days balanced.
  • Communicate clearly with inspectors and teammates so everyone knows where to be and what to expect.
  • Inject positivity and confidence into every client interaction — even when the situation is stressful or uncertain.

Problem Solving & Client Experience

  • Listen carefully, think creatively, and resolve challenges with empathy and resourcefulness.
  • Anticipate what clients might need next — and take initiative before they even have to ask.
  • Support the team by identifying common patterns or client feedback worth sharing.
  • Represent The Grand Experience with consistency and care, even on the busiest days.

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly with inspectors, other CCT members, and leadership.
  • Support weekend operations with reliability, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Help make the client experience seamless — from the first call to the final report.

You’ll Love This Role If You…

  • Are naturally curious and love making people feel heard.
  • Enjoy turning “uh-oh” moments into “thank you so much!” moments.
  • Can juggle multiple calls or tasks without losing your cool.
  • Like structure but can improvise when things go sideways.
  • Care about good communication, clear systems, and great experiences.
  • Want a role where empathy and problem-solving are actual job requirements.

Must-Haves

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales (phone-based preferred).
  • Strong communication and listening skills — you’re the kind of person who actually hears what people mean.
  • Comfortable learning and using new software & CRMs
  • Availability on Saturdays & Sundays, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., with flexibility for occasional weekday coverage.
  • Based in Michigan — this role can be remote.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay ($20–$24/hr based on experience)
  • Monthly performance bonuses for 5-star reviews and team goals
  • A mission-driven, people-first company culture
  • Training and mentorship from industry pros
  • Ongoing personal and professional development

Our Core Values

  • Provide the Grand Experience
  • Seek to Build Genuine Connections
  • Never Stop Growing
  • Fearlessly Fail Forward
  • Trust That Done Beats Perfect
  • Build Your Grand Life
