A Cashier/Stocker provides prompt, courteous customer assistance or calls for assistance in a grocery store environment. Greets and serves customers; helps unload customers cart (if necessary) scans & weighs merchandise, accurately processes the order, accurately receives payment, gives receipt, counts back change, bags/boxes purchases, loads and carry out purchases, retrieve carts. A Cashier/Stocker provides safe, efficient labor by unloading, storing and stocking merchandise and supplies by lifting and carrying or by operating pallet jacks or forklifts (only qualified employees operate forklift). Cases of merchandise are opened using case cutters. Merchandise is filled and faced on shelves and displays. Boxes are removed from shelves into the box bin or cardboard baler (only qualified employees operate baler). Cleans, sweeps, mops, and disposes trash. Other Duties May Be Assigned
