This individual will be expected to monitor a specific group of patient's care and support them in achieving short/long term health goals. The Care Coordinator will coordinate with providers to ensure patients' needs are met. A working knowledge of the clinical field is desired for this position.<br><br><strong>Position Summary:<br><br></strong>We are seeking a <strong>Behavioral Health Medical Assistant (MA)</strong> to support our telemedicine psychiatric providers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. This role involves coordinating virtual patient visits, managing records, and ensuring each patient receives a smooth, high-quality telehealth experience.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Prepare patients for virtual appointments by confirming demographics, medications, and visit details. </li><li>Obtain and document patient health information, including behavioral health screening tools. </li><li>Conduct safety assessments for suicidality and crisis intervention as needed. </li><li>Support psychiatric providers during telehealth visits with documentation and coordination. </li><li>Accurately maintain patient records and manage workflows within eClinicalWorks (eCW). </li><li>Assist with medication refills, lab orders, prior authorizations, and pharmacy communication. </li><li>Coordinate follow-up appointments, conduct appointment reminders, referrals, and care coordination. </li><li>Manage a cancellation list to ensure provider's schedules are full. </li><li>Provide patient education and ensure timely communication regarding care plans. </li><li>Accept incoming calls and respond to text messages from our main line. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) required. </li><li>1+ year of experience in behavioral health, telemedicine, or outpatient primary care preferred. </li><li>Proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR system preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment. </li><li>Must reside in AZ. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Why join our team?<br><br></strong><ul><li>Substantial growth opportunities </li><li>Leadership and mentoring </li><li>Resources to further career </li><li>Fun work environment (events, holiday parties) </li><li>Benefits (medical/vision/dental/401k/paid holidays)</li><li>Supportive and positive work environment</li></ul>
