Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Support Associate to join our team in Chennai. As an IT Support Associate, you will be a vital part of the AWS team, ensuring seamless operations of IT systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting users across various platforms. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for AWS services and applications to internal teams and customers. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other technical teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. Perform routine maintenance and updates to IT systems to ensure optimal performance. Support the setup and configuration of new hardware and software as required. Document and maintain support tickets and resolutions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up their devices, accounts, and permissions. Monitor system health and performance, taking preventive measures to avoid potential disruptions. Provide training and guidance to team members on best IT practices and new technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of IT support, network configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience in providing technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues. Proficiency in using Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing platforms is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way.
