Overview Hours Monday thru Friday 3pm to 11:30 pm
Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate, where your contributions will be vital to our operations! In this role, you will be at the heart of our warehouse distribution process, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently. Your expertise in materials handling and heavy equipment operation will help us maintain a smooth workflow while adhering to safety standards. What you’ll do

  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks for effective loading and unloading of goods.
  • Utilize RF scanners for accurate order picking and inventory management within our warehouse management system.
  • Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks to ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill shipping and receiving duties while maintaining high standards of safety per OSHA regulations.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of new warehouse associates to promote best practices in operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold mechanical knowledge and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and productivity.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution with a strong understanding of order picking processes.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes and forklifts.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role within a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and shipments.
  • Experience using RF scanners for efficient order processing.
  • Background in construction or related fields that require mechanical knowledge.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
